Top Navigation and Maps Apps in Spain: Q1 2025 Performance

In the first quarter of 2025, the top navigation and maps applications in Spain demonstrated varied performance across downloads, revenue, and active users. This analysis, based on Sensor Tower data, highlights the trends observed in these leading apps.

Google Maps maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads peaking at around 48K in early January. However, a gradual decline was observed towards the end of the quarter, settling at approximately 32K. Weekly active users showed a slight fluctuation, averaging around 29M throughout the quarter.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic experienced a steady increase in downloads, with numbers rising from 33K to over 43K by mid-February. The app's active user base also saw growth, starting at 1.8M and reaching nearly 1.9M by the quarter's end.

Google Earth showed consistent download activity, with a peak of over 20K in mid-March. Active users fluctuated, reaching over 510K by late March, indicating a rising interest in the app.

Radarbot: Speed Cameras | GPS from Iteration Mobile S.L saw a spike in downloads in March, reaching up to 13K. Weekly revenue was robust, peaking at approximately $17K at the start of the quarter. Active users remained stable, averaging around 214K.

SeTracker2 showed a significant download surge in early January with numbers above 30K, though it tapered off to around 3K by March. Active users increased steadily, peaking at over 47K by the end of the quarter.
